-Just a quick note regarding an, imo, outstanding 3-episode OAV horror anime: Le Portrait de Petite Cosette. This anime's incredible
breathtaking synthesis of story, characters, casting, art and music held me
mesmerized throughout, not resurfacing for air until it had concluded.
I apologise for the excess of superlatives, but rarely does an anime hold replay
value for me, much less be of sufficient quality to constitute
"conversion" material. (Examples of what I consider exceptional
works: Akira, GITS - original movie, Alien Nine, Azumanga Daioh, flcl, Haibane
Renmei, etc.) So when a new addition passes my way, I endeavor to pass the
information along.
